Campground is nice enough but all of the lots within eyesight of where we stayed we’re not level. I had been spoiled before this with a level enough lot to just pull in and get comfy. Campground is nice enough but all of the lots within eyesight of where we stayed we’re not level. I had been spoiled before this with a level enough lot to just pull in and get comfy. Took me an hour to set up and I had to ask my neighbor for help since I had never leveled a trailer before. I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known it would’ve been as much of a hassle as it was but thankful for the learning experience. I now know more about leveling my rig. I was in site 59.

Very Nice Campground.. Staff is very Friendly & Helpful … Well maintained… except the sites require a lot of leveling of your RV / Camper Very Hilly Campsites .. Unless you get and pay the extra for a Premium Site …most sites have hardly any space except the Premium ones …would I come back .. yes, but only at a premium site but I’m no... more

Good location to Lexington and of course the Natural Bridge & Caverns among other activities. Easy access off of I-81. Roanoke is not too far either. Campground is well developed but a bit hilly. Good location to Lexington and of course the Natural Bridge & Caverns among other activities. Easy access off of I-81. Roanoke is not too far either. Campground is well developed but a bit hilly. Owners are constructing new sites carving out the hill to do so. (We were there in August.) Some existing sites have concrete pads and wood deck patio and the new construction will be the same. Restrooms, showers are well maintained. Laundry is fine and the pool is great. Usual activities for kids including a game room. Owners have chickens & goats to visit. Good store, well stocked. The only hiking trail is a bit interrupted by the new construction - basically a one-way. Staff picks up your bagged trash daily in the morning if you leave it by your camper - not overnight tho.

We travel full time and this is my new favorite campground. Tree shaded and beautiful setting. Well staffed and good staff. Bathrooms were clean. We travel full time and this is my new favorite campground. Tree shaded and beautiful setting. Well staffed and good staff. Bathrooms were clean. We had high winds which knocked down a lot of branches. The staff was already cleaning roads of limbs before the storm was finished. We could hear chainsaw going. A lot of overnighters because of the easy interstate access. Highly recommend this park.

Big rig friendly,FHU, easy access.
We stayed the night passing through. It is a good park. Tucked away in the trees and very quiet. Family park with sports,play grounds, dog park.
Sites are ok. Gravel and pretty level.
Would stay again.

This is a nice campground right off of RT. 81. We stayed one night in a pull through site. The site was level and the utilities were all good. We will stay here again.

Close to the interstate, very clean restrooms, nice, pull through site, concrete pad, and a great fire pit area made this a great overnight stop.

“Staff was so rude we did not stay!”

We have stayed at many KOAs and this has been the worst experience at KOA to date.
We reserved online but when we arrived they did not have have us. Not a problem. I booked through the app but for some reason it didn’t go through on their side.
The lady at the counter seemed annoyed and asked if I was sure I knew how to use the app. (I proceeded to show her over 10 reservations that I had made over the past 2 months - that’s how long we have been in the road for this particular trip.)
I let it go. She finally moved in to actually look for availability after she was done insulting me. She found a site (the exact site I thought I had reserved online) but quoted me $23 more than i could book it online through the app. I asked why it was so much more and was told she didn’t know if she could rent to me if I couldn’t understand the simple pricing. WTH !?!
I started to leave and was asked “are you not staying?”
We left, drove 5 minutes down the road and found a great campground with the nicest people and stayed there.
