Camping is first come, first serve with no reservations, max stay is 14 days, but you can leave for a week, then return for another 14. Tent camping is only allowed for 4 days. The bathrooms and showers are dated, but well kept and spotless. With 20 or 30 amp services, some sites have full hookups (by road) as well.
On site boat ramp and fishing dock.
Generally it is very quiet here, especially at night.
Downtown is a few blocks away, and has a taproom and a Dollar General that is nicely stocked.
Verizon 4G, but was good enough for work related zoom calls.

Folks know about this city park. We got a spot but I'd say it was half full during our week long stay. The sites are "on top of each other" but mostly folks kept a space between rigs. Dump station is north of the park at the north end of the field. We are 36' class a and had no problem hooking up, NP water to rinse slinky. Nice, clean showers and on site manager we chatted with a few times. Civic Brewery in Sopchoppy is good for brews and a food truck, Dollar General in town as well.

If you have a trailer of any size, watch the GPS in and out. A few tricky spots with the access roads.

Stayed a night here. It’s a city park with camp sites, some facing the lake. The facilities are clean and the host was super friendly. We like these kinds of places and aren’t into the resort style campgrounds so this was right up our alley! The price was right and it was quiet, safe and clean!

Some sites have a sewer hookup but there is a nice little dump station at the north end of the fields outside the park. Great access to the river - the Ochlockonee seems to have about 6 branches but it looks like you could paddle to the State Park from here. Overall I love the area. If the campgrounds at the State Park and the coastal area are full (don't forget Tate's Hell!), this is a perfectly serviceable backup for the money.

The spots by the river don't have sewer and the electric has not been updated-we had to zip tie our plug in. There's an electric cox between 5&6 that has all the breakers. BUT, the floodlights have switches over on this side, so it's darker. The side next to the street has sewer hookups but it's very brightly lit with LED floodlights. We didn't use the bathrooms. There's a large covered area and a nice playground and a big field. Tent campers can camp down by the gazebo as well. We paddled our inflatable kayak upriver about 3 miles and rode our bikes on the greenway to Mashes Sands. It's not too far to Wakulla Springs SP, St. Mark's NWR, or Bald Point. The caretaker didn't seem to do much.

We were only here for one night but I wish we would have had longer to explore this beautiful little park. I thought the price was a little high but the campground was clean and had a beautiful setting by the lake. There was even a nice boardwalk and some swings to enjoy the lake.
