We spent 2 nights here while we waited for Monday. We are not big fans of RV parks in general, preferring state parks or boondocking. But, this park was clean, grassy, along the river with great bath facilities. It was also in a park with bike trails , fields etc. We would come back. If you ride bikes, try riding to the grocery store! ...

NOTE: South campground will close May 1, 2024 for extensive renovations. Expected to be closed for a year. Such a nice, old-fashioned campground. Upgrades are coming (FHUs, some tree removal, new bath houses) Hoping the character of the place is retained. Lots of birds and pretty lakeside walks.

Just a stopover on our way out west, but very worth the drive (12 miles) off I-44. Quiet place, easy back ins and pull through in loop 1. We'd come back for sure, lots to do in the area.

It’s an overpriced gravel parking lot next to the highway and some oil tanks. Fine for an overnight but nothing spectacular about it. Very dusty. Sites were level and lots of pull thru sites. We didn’t see any real difference between the cheaper sites vs more premium sites.

Love this quiet little older park with friendly staff and people. Not hard to find off I-75. It has lots of things to do and the pool is lovely. At this time the winter folks have closed up and headed north so very quiet. FU very large grassy flat side. Passport America discount.
