Pleasant enough. Sites have paved drives, a mowed lawn area, and some greenery for privacy. No dump and hard to find water.
The bath house is a walk through the woods, not right on the loop as map indicates. Not private, open room with 3 showers.Think high school locker room... But water was hot and all was pretty clean.
Biggest annoyance was the on line registration system - very cumbersome.Hope they can upgrade that. Add $6 for a required daily park permit.

No water available. No dump station. Sites at top of hill, with some spots having a great view. Some electric & some with none. Some good walks.

We stayed here two nights to do some stuff in Milwaukee. The campsites are pretty big and the pad was paved but not terribly long. Our 20 foot camper plus tow vehicle barely fit. The sites don't have a ton of privacy but they're spaced nicely. The first night we were there was a Thursday and the campground was maybe 25% full. The next night, Friday, it was full. The campground seemed pretty noisy with parking dogs, screaming children, and people who stayed up until midnight laughing like Hyenas. This campground does not have a dump station, which is fine, but they should think about adding a place to fill water that isnt inside the campground loop. On Friday afternoon there was a trailer blocking the campground road while they spent fifteen minutes filling their water near a parking area. There was a park ranger parked behind them about 100 feet who just sat there doing nothing for some reason. Our campsite was between the two and we were unable to leave. When the blocking camper finally finished they proceeded around the campground loop where they encountered another trailer doing the same thing facing the wrong way. Fortunately at this point we were able to turn around and exit the wrong way. The verizon data here was pretty good. We had 20 over the air tv channels. We would stay here again if we were going to be visiting Milwaukee, but we wouldn't stay here just for camping sake. It should also be noted that you will need to get a daily or yearly county parks vehicle pass to stay here.

There is a piggly wiggly just about 1 mile away from the park for groceries. The park has a community potable water station to fill tanks and has 2 porta potties, a short walk away from the campgrounds are showers but we didn't use them.
For dumping tanks, I recommend the Loves truck stop at Oak Creek, very convenient.
For propane, i recommend Johnny's Fuel Oil Service on Janesville road less than 2 miles from the park.

Beautiful wooded and large, level sites with good water nearby and hot showers at a small beach house. Nice county park. Convenient to Milwaukee (20 min) and all you might need in Muskego (5 min). Nice bike trail to Muskego. They ask for $5 per day park pass and $7 for firewood. Busier on weekends. Empty otherwise.
