This is a solid 4 star if not for the trains that kept us up ALL night - often 10 minutes apart. Nice walking path next to the sites. Level concrete pads with lush grass between sites. No fire ring or picnic tables. Quality of the restrooms was poor.

Ps had a good breakfast burrito at Mickies restaurant the morning we left.

Sites are open with little shade. Small airstrip behind the campground and train tracks near as well, but as we stayed in August 2023 during a heat wave, we had our A/C on all night and couldn’t hear the noise. Self-service pay process - cash only. Would stay again for a quick overnight when traveling on I-80. Cheaper than a private campground and enough utilities for our purposes.

If you are looking for a clean, safe, easy place to stay, this is it! We were shocked at all going on in this small town. The RV pads are dead level, full hook ups, and beautiful green grass. We will stop again!

We looked at the city website and it also says $25 per day. Nice sites. Only 2 other campers here. Has water and electric with a dump next to the bathroom. Easy access. Come early on a game night. Came on a Sunday and by 6:00pm the lot was full of cars for the jr league baseball game at the next door field. Problem is, they park in front of/ block access to the rv sites.

When we showed up we found only one site was available as all the others had snow piled on them! Lucky for us we were the only ones there in March! Close to railroad but doesn’t bother us. Super quiet.

If the park was really busy our 63’ would be in the way but we picked the spot by the volleyball sand pit and it was just great.
Yes, there are trains.
Yes, there is an airport.

We were just passing through and needed a place to crash, and this park was perfect. Basically a parking lot in a small-town municipal park, but $15 for water and electric, and right off the interstate it is a great deal. My husband enjoyed watching a little league baseball game. Bathrooms were clean - no shower. No reservations, first come, but there were plenty of spots. Self registration and self pay - very easy. FYI there is a train track and the train runs frequently throughout the night. We use a noise cancelation machine for evenings like this and we had no problems sleeping, but it could be an issue for some.
FYI the municipal pool is right there - for a small fee you can swim.

Oh almost forgot....the sprinklers came on in the evening and sprayed my trailer instead of the grass. Oh well.... :)
