We stayed in site 11. It was very quiet and you could hear the creek across the road. I think sites 8-11 at Mulky are the best if you have a van/small rig. They are on the road but we saw very little traffic after 7 pm. There was a prescribed burn March 2023 so the area around the site was slightly charred. Saw some trash too, which is unfortunate. No hookups, but there are water spigots, bear proof trash receptacles, and vault toilets.

Let me preface this by stating that we stayed here on Easter weekend, which may have been one of the most popular times to camp (spring break for school kids), and it was full. There is also trout fishing at that time of year, and that seemed to be the main attraction. I'm not sure what it's like at other times of the year. You cannot make reservations here. The campground is accessible only via a gravel forest service road. We had a 21 foot travel trailer at the time, and we were fine. I do think anything larger would have been a problem. The truck and trailer barely fit together in our site. The camp sites are directly off the main drag and fairly close to one another, so don't expect a ton of privacy. It was surprisingly quiet at night. There is one bathroom, which I do not think had showers. No hook-ups here. Water spigots were available. No dump station or trash pick-up. No AT&T coverage. We had a picnic table and a fire ring. There is a pretty creek and some hiking available. The location is quite remote, so be sure you have food! There is another campground so close that I'm not sure why they are separated. If memory serves, it was more expensive and had at least one camp host on site. This is USFS land, and draws an eclectic crowd. There was a fair amount of trash in our site, and we realized our neighbor left a residential mattress in his site when he left. What a pity!
