“Terrible Access + Slow Internet + Dirty”

We work from the road so we look for places that have a nice balance between being remote, and still having an internet signal. We stayed here because we were exploring the nearby abandoned waterpark. Access is absolutely awful. Huge ruts and rocks. The road leads back to a giant area where class a's and t'ers can park, although I would never drive a huge buss back here. The one fella that past us, half his foot ladder was hanging off, presumably snagged on something.
The place was also insanely dirty with an obscene amount of broken glass and spent casings.
Would not recommend.

“Great staging area for shooting, desert adventure, and 4x4”

Lots of sites to enjoy- great access to the 4x4 trails, mines, shooting (active shooting all around camp- if you dont like guns, dont camp here). Calico Ghost town 5 minutes away. City of Yermo 10 minutes away (gas stations, small amenities). There is a KOA at the Calico/I-15 exit and the Ghost Town campground- both have dumping/water availability for a fee.
rubidug would stay here again
