Lake Road Campground

We stayed here the weekend after 4th of July. It was not busy and the location is just down the road from the Lock and Dam and boat landing - very convenient! The owners and other campers were very friendly and helpful.
A few things to note - the short gravel road to get there has huge pot holes all over it. And the trees on the sites make it difficult for tal trailers. We had to climb up and break branches off so it didn’t damage our roof. The units are not pull through, the the u shaped road is very narrow. With our 42’ 5th wheel, I can’t imagine having to have parked in a different unit if the other spots would’ve been full.
Thankfully though, it all worked out and we had a great time on the Mississippi River with easy quick access to our RV for conveniences!
