Mountwood Park Family Campground

We were heading back to Indiana on highway 50 and this looked like the best option for a 1 night stay. We arrived on a Thursday Afternoon and there were only 2 other campers there so we had our choice of sites. We chose 75 but 71 would have been good as well. The water and electric were both fine. They had full hookup sites but for 1 night we didn't need it. I checked out the restroom and shower house and it was clean but we didn't use it. The host said it gets busy on the weekends and we did see a few more campers come in later in the evening. Some of the sites are a little short, so if you have a bigger rig you might want to look around before parking. We have a 28' travel trailer and our site worked great.

Not what we are used to, no reservations and plenty of sites available. For such a nice place we couldn’t figure out why it was not busier.
Bathrooms were fine, nice and clean. Randall the park manager was very pleasant and goes above and beyond to help you.
Cell service was fine we were able to FaceTime and talk with out any issues.
