A no frills park although they do have a jacuzzi available, also wifi which worked fairly well. The standard hookups and the sites are a little crowded but it’s clean, well-maintained, and run by nice folks. I was here visiting friends in Ventura and this was a good location. I did a drive through (in my tow vehicle only) through Kenney Grove to see if that would be an alternative but I wouldn’t try to fit my 33’ Class A in there. If I have a complaint it would be the entry into the park is a bit severe, not the fault of the park. Take it slow. There is a sign in the office warning of ants so, plan appropriately.

I spent three unintentional weeks here. I came for the week as a place to park it while I did a tent camping trip to the Channel Islands. They offer a weekly rate that basically equates to $28 per night, or stay 6 and get the 7th free. Only 15 miles away from Ventura, it was the least expensive option where I felt comfortable to park the rig unattended while I was on the island for four days.

However, I encountered a structural failure with my hitch on the way to this park, which left my holding tanks tied up with zip ties. It took 3 weeks to get the parts and schedule the repair. The people who run the park could not have been more accommodating in making sure I had a place to stay, particularly over Memorial Day weekend.

It's important to note that this park has NO bathrooms. No showers, no toilets, no laundry. It's a full hookup park with a lot of contractors living here working on the gas line replacement near the fault line. So the park is pretty quiet with adults....not a place for kids.

Site 101 is a little wider than most, and opens up to a patch of grass, while the rest are just concrete. Also, it is further in from Harvard Rd, which can be a bit noisy.

The park used to be an orchard, so there are still resident ants. Bring spray or powder, as they WILL come in uninvited. Park Host recommended "Home Defense," a gallon spray for $5 at Home Depot, and it did the trick.

Santa Paula is a quiet town, but I found plenty to do there while waiting on repairs. There are plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance, and some nice hiking 10 miles out of town. Located up Hwy 126, 15 miles from downtown Ventura.
