Camp host appears to be gone during the day. We only have a camper van so couldn’t reserve our site until the host returned. There was no ticket/pay system.

Forget Redfish Lake, go to Little Redfish Lake. The big lake is full of noisy people, boats, jet skis, and this one has no development around it except for this campground and one other. No motor boats, just kayaks and people floating around on air mattresses. Sweet view of the lake backed by the awesome Sawtooth Mountains to the west. Lovely big sites, not real level, but doable. Gravel roads and grassy sites, fine trees and wildflowers. We happen to love camping right by a body of water or river, with a good view beyond, and this is perfect. No place to hike or bike right from the campground, but if you have a vehicle, access to major hiking trails is easy. There are showers, laundry, and dump station a mile or so away.
