Mountain View Camping

If we hadn’t been part of a caravan, we would have left this campground. It was really bad.

There were so many unattended problems- rusted electrical posts, sewer smell from a manhole across the drive, stored equipment including a Case tractor, scattered picnic tables, an old car, etc. That list doesn’t include the restrooms! The women’s washroom had 5 shower stalls, 2 of which were locked shut. Of the remaining 3, two had no shower curtains.

My advice- If you just need a place to spend the night, then be sure to avoid the inside loop or just keep driving.

When you camp in a city, you don't have many options. The looks of the campsite are pretty good. However, the sites are unbelievably close to each other. We could hear what was happening in the rv behind us. We had full hookups but we had to pay an extra $5 a day for a third person. Pretty crazy. They also have a rule about dogs over 50 lbs are not allowed, which seems strange. The staff were friendly and left you alone. There is zero shade at any of the sites. The sites are level though. Wifi is free until you reach a certain bandwidth and then you don't have access to it. We used up the wifi in the first day. We were about 25 mins from downtown Calgary. We wouldn't stay here again because the price was crazy expensive for what it was.
