I arrived here on a Monday afternoon in July to hookup and restore all my power. A bit of a rundown location with several outbuildings not in use. I’m not really sure what the actual cost per night is as I was given 3 different prices from 2 different people. I ended up paying $13 a night which was fair. Seems the place is being run by one of the grandsons now. ‘Joe’ who was referred to in a previous review passed away in 2020 and ‘Lou’ is sweet as can be but seems to have dementia.
Water, electric, dump (which I didn’t use), nice folks and LOTS of flies. Also 4 Bars 3G with ATT, but had to use my HiBoost.

Campground is a loose word here, but if you need somewhere to stop for the night or a few day, this place is the cheapest full hookup around! Joe and his wife are more than accommodating and take pretty good care of the place. There are about 10 camp sites situated behind their house all lined next to each other. Not much space between the sites and most of the people staying here are long-termers. The good news is that everyone was friendly and quiet.
For $20/night for full hookups (not including passport America discount for the first 3 nights) this place is a steal of a deal. It’s a little less than 2 hours to Teton National Park. We will definitely be stopping back by here if we are passing through!
AT&T had steady 3g, but not enough to do more than browse websites. Verizon was solid with 13d/25u at its slowest. It was fast enough to stream and use for video conferences.

While this park is far from a resort the location was very restful. A great stop over on your way to Yellowstone for the Tetons.
Side trips took us to Dubois a quaint little town. Also to the Sacajawea cemetery near Ft Washakie. Had a picnic lunch at Ray Lake nearby.
Mainly just rested in the peace and quiet.

After finding the State Park to be a bit too rugged for us, we found this site and were pleasantly surprised to learn we had a discount for being Escapees members. This full hook up site is on private property with what looks to be a few long-term campers. We were right next to neighbors but found it quiet with easy access to stores and gas. Super easy to get into with our truck and 24' trailer- the others here were bigger than ours.
The sign on the road is a little confusing as it says Mountain View on only one side. Look instead for a red Coca-Cola Sign - you will see the other campers. Beautiful views and very friendly hosts.

Nice little spot with a wonderful view of the mountains. Full hookups for $24. Passport America for 3 days. Quiet and run by very nice folks. In need of some TLC but a great spot to stay for a night or two.
