The view is outstanding, the facilities are clean and well cared for and most importantly the owners are wonderful people. They truly care about your experience and go out of their way to communicate and include everyone. The music on Saturday was excellent and they have a great venue for hosting musicians. We will definitely be back😊

Absolutely a must stay. The owners and campground blew our expectations away. This gem sets the bar for how all campgrounds should be run. The owner out so much of their love into this place, so enjoyable with Karaoke at the music barn, meet and greet, clean and well kept and so much fun history. We thought the karaoke and meet and greet might be a little cheesy but we met some of the most wonderful people and had so much fun in the music barn. Lots of places to explore near by and some great hiking. Highly recommend!!

This campground is a quiet, beautiful piece of North GA. The owners make the campers feel like family. They keep the campground in perfect shape. Water, electricity and Wi-Fi are all very dependable. Campground was clean and dog friendly. Cell service on Verizon is weak but works.

We had no problem entering or getting into our camp spot (site #14) we have a F250 w/36 foot solitude.
We did see some large class A also come through.
Also, good wifi as they have a few separate routers.
This is not a mega campground, & that’s exactly what we loved about it.
Laundry is donation based(recommended $2)
Clean bathroom and shower.
Two sets of corn hole boards & a really neat indoor pavilion set up.
We didn’t stay through the weekend for the special events, but my guess is they are awesome!

We stayed at Mountain View Campground from 8/24 - 9/1/22. What a GREAT place. Louie and PJ are the owners. They live onsite, and take great care to make you feel welcome, as do the campers who stay here. Most of the campers have been there before and return regularly. The campground is extremely well cared for. Over the 3 seasons Louie and PJ have owned it, they have manicured, rebuild, corrected problems and created a comfortable, quiet, friendly atmosphere with a killer view of the mountain across the road from them. The campground has about 30 campsites, bath houses, a 1 washer and dryer laundry (suggested donation $1 per wash and $1 per dry), a rocking chair porch (where campers gather late afternoon), a ping pong room, a dog park, a community fire ring, a music barn (karaoke on Thursday) and musical entertainment (outside or inside the music barn) most weekends. Campers are also welcome to attend the Tuesday “meet and Greet” event. If you enjoy peace and quiet, friendly, helpful owners and a few campground activities each week, this is the place. We will DEFINITELY return as quickly as we can. We thoroughly enjoyed the campground, the owners, the other campers and the surrounding area. The north GA mountains are wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay and have reservations for our next visit. Looking forward to being in this peaceful place again and again..
