Mt. Spokane is a dry camp ground with flushing toilets, fire pits, and drinking water. There are 8 sites and are fairly close together. We have tent camped here several times in the past and love this park. It is a first come first serve campground. Scouted it, very small not level looking sites arranged in a circle so every camper can see every camper. There is no view from the sites. I was happy I didn't haul my camper up there, as it's like a mountain road that is steep with lots of switchbacks. Might make a suitable base camp for bikers and hikers, just not an attractive campi... more

“Alpine-like campground near the top of Mt. Spokane”

This is a hidden gem that doesn't seem to get much use. The campground is situated near the top of Mount Spokane in an area with alpine meadows and small pine trees. It's about a 30-35 mile drive from Spokane. The sites are small; best suited for tents or smaller RV's. There's a water spigot and a vault toilet. No hook-ups. This is... more
