What a great campground. The hosts, Charlie and Lisa Young, were the most hospitable and friendly hosts we've ever encountered plus they ran an organized CG for people trying to find a camp site. No reservations, walkups only. Get there early for the daily turnover. This CG is close to the lake, beaches, hikes, and more. The dump station and water is close by. The CG was clean and very well maintained by the hosts every day. Redfish lakes is spectacular for scenery and outdoor activities. We loved the canoeing but many others enjoyed the numerous beaches, boating and swimming. Our site was large, a bit dusty but clean with no litter. Our faithful companion Gracie loved the many chipmunks and occasional squirrel. We'd stay here again hopefully without so much smoke in the sky.
