Moved to the south end campground to site 11 which is right on the lake with great access for stand up paddle boarding or kayaking. The site is also right across from showers and clean bathrooms. 3 bars of 5G T Mobile and Verizon down on Cascade Lake.

The sites are ideal for tent or hammock camping. Don't forget to put your food away, the deer are plentiful and don't seem too afraid to stroll through your campsite. Orcas Island is accessed via the ferry, so make ferry reservations far enough in advance, it does fill up. There are lots of trails, with small waterfalls sprinkled about, to hike and explore.

I originally booked site 61, but there was no way I could back into it (the turn was uphill and really tight) or get under the trees overhanging the site (my rig is 12'6" tall). I went back to the gate and got site 18. Managed to get in, did about a 12 point turn to get out. It's also right on the road. And right on the water, but... Not sure it was worth it. Be warned that if you choose to drive up Mt. Constitution, it's a very steep (more than 10%) grade with lots of hairpin turns. I was grateful for my engine brake on the way down.

There are not many level sites and the tent sites are really close to one another. Lots of kids. Across from the lake. Many hikes from here or a gory drive away. Site 109 was okay for our 16 foot airstream but we had to use blocks. We were closed to the road so road noise was around but not horrible. Only one bathroom women’s had 4 toilets and one shower for a lot of people. There was fresh water every few sites. We love the area and will probably be back.

A road is real close by and is noisy at times. The southern section of the campground wouldn’t have this issue.
T-Mobile has been great with just 2 bars. Verizon even with a weboost wasn’t enough for web browsing.
