Stayed here and there was one rig, a few vans, and a couple SUVs. Really nice spot area next to the lake, tucked in the middle of fields of farm land. Sunset and sunrise were beautiful. One bathroom, a few fire rings and some picnic tables.

When I pulled in mid afternoon there was one couple picnicing there and plenty of room for my 36' footer and 20' car trailer. Very quiet and peaceful, beautiful lake view, and then the moon rose right over the lake - absolutely gorgeous! Three more vehicles arrived in the evening with plenty of room for everyone.

Great spot for a stay while on your way. Sites were clean and trimmed, pit toilet was pretty rough but this late in the season they all seem to be that way. Local farmer on a Beer cruise dropped off some firewood which was pretty nice. There is a quarry or shale operation somewhere in the area as we hear faint sounds of thunder in the distance but clear beautiful sky’s were filled with stars and the set and rise were perfect. Not to shabby. Full sprint/T-Mobile

Campsite is 6.2 miles off of I-94, 4.2 miles of this is down gravel road. There are four fire pits, two picnic benches, a boat launch ramp, two boat piers, trash can, vault/pit toilet, no water. T-Mobile: three out of four bars 5G (iPhone), 44MB/12MB down/upload.

The campground is located 15 minutes or so south off I94 down a maintained gravel road. It is located on a small lake which does not have a designated swimming area. The campground has a couple rock rings for a fire pit and one pit toilet. Shade is hard to find in most locations in the campground.

After reading other reviews we found it to be a quiet grassy meadow with a small boat launch. We stayed 2 days and the second day the fisherman came in and it got crowded! Met several interesting people and that’s always fun:) definitely worth the rough road going in! We have a 35 foot Bounder towing a small Jeep.

Don't be fooled by your less-than-perfect GPS, or by the first "Moon Lake" sign you see - the actual camping area is just past that sign. You'll know you're in the wrong place if you see lots of permanent rvs and junk laying around. Go back out and take the NEXT left!

Couple pontoons on the lake and it looks like several people own property around the perimeter. Very nice sunset view and sunrise wasn’t shabby, either. The pit toilet left much to be desired as it was looking pretty full, but I just got on the road the next morning and found a gas station in Jamestown rather than go through that again. That said, it was a FREE and peaceful spot just 15 minutes off the interstate. I would definitely stay here again.

No one else was there, so we had the site to ourselves. It had a fire pit that we didn’t use. The bathroom was horribly dirty but didn’t smell, oddly.
The lake definitely looked beautiful in the moonlight, and there are plenty of lakes along the way to the site.
The drive took too long for us to return just to sleep, but I’d go back to spend a couple days.
