“Beautiful Area”

Reviewed Jun 20, 2018

Overall Rating

The surrounding area is beautiful, the location is great next to restaurants and across the street from the river. I love that they have a small store so I don't have to leave the property for things I forgot and I love their swimming pool and playground for the kids. The employees were all nice and the owners were on the property work... more

“Great Location, Close to Wineries, The River and Colorado National Monument”

Reviewed Jun 11, 2018

Overall Rating

Very clean, well organized park. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access from the Interstate and the internal roads were well laid out for large rigs. Pull thru sites were very long. Location is also excellent; close to restaurants, coffee shops, and a nice museum across the street. There are dozens of wineries nearby (we es... more

“Nice Park close to Mountain Biking and Hiking”

Reviewed Oct 25, 2017

Overall Rating

We stayed at Monument for one month, as we have family and friends in the area. The park is very convenient from I-70 in Fruita. The park is medium-sized, all gravel sites. The roads are paved, and there is a smallish dog park. The Park is well maintained, and staff is helpful. This Park has many seasonal or full-time residents, bu... more

“Nice private RV park, close to shopping and restaurants. Walk to the dinosaur museum, into town, or across the street to the state park. Short drive to the beautiful Colorado National Monument or into Grand Junction.”

Reviewed May 12, 2017

Overall Rating

Monument RV Resort is a good option if the Colorado River State Park across the street is full. We were here for the Fruita Fat Tire Mountain Bike Festival and wanted to be close to downtown. You can walk/bike from the state park across the street into town or take a paved trail all the way into Grand Junction. Location is walking dist... more

“Convenient to Colorado National Monument ”

Reviewed Sep 10, 2015

Overall Rating

Rate reflects the weekly rate. I did meet a permanent resident in the park, but it seems most people pull in for 1-2 nights only. The lady that checked us in was surprised to learn we'd be there for a week. The sites are very long and there is no shade, but the park is nicely kept up. The owner told us the wash the small dog park down ... more

“Large pull-thru sites”

Reviewed Jun 10, 2015

Overall Rating

This RV resort is one of the closest to The Colorado National Monument. It’s one of the best campgrounds we’ve stayed in. Sites are level and very wide. Plenty of full hookup (including cable TV) pull-thru sites for big rigs. Long enough to leave your towed attached. Many smaller back-in sites for smaller RVs. WIFI is available (tengon... more
