There’s a cell tower in the park and I was able to have video meetings and work all day on both Verizon and ATT; no issues at all. The area is incredible…alligators everywhere and fishing was awesome in the canal on the road in.

Sites 14-26 are very close together but sites 1-3 and 27-38 are large with plenty of space between sites.
The lake/pond is over 1,000 x 500 feet and not deep so it might be better described as a large pond and not a lake. Be very careful when near the water's edge. There are several large alligators that live in the lake. Some are over 8 foot in length.
Camp hosts are great and very helpful.
Warning: AT&T replaced the cell antennas on the tower near the campground. I was present when the work started and was completed. At the start when at site 36 we had 4 bars on AT&T. After the work was competed signal dropped to 1 bar. Sites 1-3 have good AT&T signal but once you pass those sites the signal drops to one bar on AT&T. This is a result of the new antennas being tuned to highly directional along the highway. As soon as I move to the campground entrance my signal jumps to 5 bars.
We had 4 bars of Verizon, 5 bars of T-Mobile, and 1 bar of AT&T from site 36.

I did see one alligator cruising the lake. “No dog walking” signs posted around the lake. “Walk dogs here” signs posted around campsites. I kept my dog close by and not outside by himself. We were fine. If you are looking for a real Florida nature experience, this is it. Definitely going back. EXTRA NOTES: cell tower on the grounds, cell signal fine but not as fast as in a city. Tent camping area across lake separate from RV sites.

There are no hookups but each site has a fire pit and picnic table. We have a 25ft rig plus a tow along. The campground is easy driveable with plenty of space for big rigs. We have solar panels and this location was ideal for catching direct sunlight. We use Verizon and had 5 bars of service for the entirety of our stay. Would absolutely stay here again in the future!

The big advantage here is the cell tower right at the edge of the campground. Excellent Verizon service here without a booster.
The location is very close to the Big Cypress Visitor Center and trails, the Clyde Butcher Gallery, Loop Road, and about 30 minutes to Shark Valley. We drove over to Biscayne NP from here one day and also to the other entrance to the Everglades where the Anhinga Trail and missile site, etc. are.
The camp hosts are friendly and informative. They make rounds around the campground throughout the day and evening.
There are ORV trails leading out the back of the campground that are interesting to walk on and that go for miles.
On sites 5 to about 12, the picnic tables and fire pits are on the opposite side of the road from where most people camp. You have the option to camp on either side.

Plenty of open sites during the week but filled up on the weekend. Nice size sites with friendly people. Our site had great sun exposure for solar. Dump station and water down the road about 8 to 10 miles (guessing). Great cell signal but extremely slow data on ATT. Verizon provided much faster data.
