“maybe OK for a quick overnight stop”

I did not stay overnight here, just stopped to fish for a bit. Fee schedule is a bit confusing - $12/night if you have a MT state fishing license, $18 w/o. Those prices are halved if you are over 62 years old.
No water or trash service and only one pit toilet that is a heck of a walk from all of the sites - about 300 yards from the upper sites and 100 from the lower. Basic table and fire pit at each site. Not a lot of trees in camp so you will be in full sun regardless of which site you choose.
The lower sites are nicer but there is a short, steep hill to navigate to get there. Just hope that no one else is driving the opposite direction once you start down as there is only room for one vehicle in this stretch. If you're not sure about staying here I would suggest to veer left as you turn in and park in the day use area then walk down to the other sites. Would be easy to turn around and get back to the highway if needed.
Lots of noise from the road and this is a major route so I would expect the noise continues into the night. Not as bad in the lower sites as the creek masks most of the noise.
The FWP crew does a nice job keeping the grass mowed but everything else in the area is overgrown and access to the creek taking a bit of bushwhacking.

“Two sites by the highway, three down by Monture Creek.”

Another MT fishing access site. There are two sites up by the highway that have a pretty bad slant, then a narrow bad road down a steep hill to three nice sites by the creek. There was one maybe 20 ft trailer down there and a couple tents. The usual facilities, table, fire ring, vault toilet. Probably no cell service. Just wanted to get a review in the system. Noise by the highway would be bad, by the creek would be very quiet.
