Overall Rating
Beautiful lake, sites fairly well spaced. Woods in between most sites. Easy check-in, if you do it on-line, you still have to go into the office to get vehicle passes. Roads are bad but not as bad as some NY state parks. Good water station just past the beach with a gravel pull off. Two lane dump station near the beach. Some sites are on the lake front but generally are pretty sloped down to the water.
Noise level was good, only heard a few kids screaming.
Easy access from Rt 8. About 3 miles from Speculator, which has a grocery and a few places to eat.
No AT&T cellular reception (could get a text through once in a while) and no HDTV channels.
