Overall Rating
Electric and water hook-up but no sewer and no RV dump (you can dump just up the road at Iron Woods RV site for a $20 fee plus tip - this was in Jan 2021).
Our site was a back-in, with a (very old and somewhat wobbly) picnic bench and a fire ring. They don’t sell firewood here but there’s a store just a minute or two drive away that sells it so get it on the way in. The bathroom block was very clean though showers are just behind a curtain, not a solid door. Off-road access directly from the site so convenient for those with toys. Very convenient site for Ocotillo Wells and Anza Borrego desert state park. Quite noisy in the evening and the night we were there people were letting off fireworks on the roadside right by the park. Quiet after around 11pm though. Cell service was very limited. No service on Verizon and sporadic one-bar LTE on AT&T. No WiFi. Friendly staff. Not sure the number listed here is their current one - we made reservations by calling (858) 883-8554 as the website doesn’t seem to be working.
