We were escorted to our site. Staff is the best part of this park, very friendly & very helpful! Packages/mail are welcome to be sent here. There are several amenities including a decent size pool & hot tub. Valet trash is offered ALL DAY!
Our site, near the south end, was large & had more space than usual between sites. The only complaint about our site was it was poorly leveled. We saw several motorhomes with their wheels off the ground.
We paid over $100 per night! However, the rate is consistent with most of the other parks in Moab & more than likely due to the popularity of the area, especially in the spring & fall.
The park is large & just a warning if you are trying to exit the park from the south end to allow an extra 5 minutes to whatever your gps says will be the driving time. If it is your first time exiting maybe 5-10 minutes & longer if you are trying to exit after dark!! LOL

We weren’t expecting much from this KOA given the desert location. We paid the higher price.(almost $100 with our KOA discount) because of the closeness to Arches national Park. We were immediately pleasantly surprised when we pulled in. There was beautiful landscaping, quite a few trees, and beautiful Mountain views. As with most KOA’s, the sites are tight, even for our class B it was essentially a large parking spot but we did have some tree shade. Bathrooms were very clean and updated. (Could use more hooks in shower.) The bath/shower house had individual unisex rooms for shower and for toilet/sink. In the evening, the campground had a resort like feel. The common area had a long, rectangular gas fire pit with chairs. Fires were lit poolside. The pool itself was beautiful with two levels and an additional large hot tub. The best part was it was open until 10 PM.! All very inviting. We were only able to stay one night but loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

• 2 Laundry rooms, one is horrible (outside) the other is great.
• Close to Arches and Canyonland National Parks.
• Showers are clean, good water pressure, hot water can take a few minutes to get to you, but you may not get hot water at all
• WIFI is okay, but I prefer to use my Rogers Hot Spot then I can watch my home cable TV.

Overall we favor this RV park in Moab over the others. 3 out of 5 stars simply because the KOA itself really is nothing special compared to other RV many parks we have been to. It's average.
THE GOOD
Sites: Larger living/patio areas than it seems on Google maps.
Grounds: Clean with a nice store.
Facilities: Laundry was clean and well-maintained.
Connectivity: Good enough on Verizon for us to work our remote jobs during the week.
Convenient: Easy in and out.
THE BAD:
Sites: No grass.
Staff: KOA maintenance staff smoking while maintaining the grounds. It always strikes me as inappropriate when staff smokes while visibly working. Just feels like they don't care.
Location: Slightly further out of town (south) than the Sun Outdoors and other parks. Just adds about 15-20 min for exploring the north end of Moab.
WORTH NOTING (Not good or bad)
Environment: Lots of vacationers and UTV/ATV folks. Comes with the Moab territory though.
Noise: Very busy road and trucks are constant even through the night. Even at 3 am trucks are always on the road.

A bit farther out of town, fine for us. Narrow sites, OK when you don't have raucous neighbors. We paid from ninety to one hundred ten dollars depending on the night. Easy check in and access to site, easy to level. We reported a problem with the 50 amp service and an employee was quick to respond and assured us that their electrician would be in the next day. He was, and confirmed and fixed the service. There were no further problems. As with most KOA's, there were several fellow campers who did not leash or clean up after their dogs and no staffers seemed to address any of them. We were surprised by the amount of highway noise
even though we were in a section further away from the highway. This was an easy and efficient spot to fill our propane tank. Nearby RV parks seemed just as congested and several were flanked by commercial/industrial business which seemed less desirable than this KOA location.

We had planned to stay in Moab for two nights, but after one night here we're leaving. The park itself is lovely, clean and well cared for. The views are spectacular in every direction. That's the only reason I'm giving this park any stars at all.
Our pull through site was not level, but thankfully on the end of a row. After we had been here for an hour or so, a large class A rig pulled in next to us, leaving about 7 feet between our rigs. The camp host had to move our picnic table closer to our rig in order to accommodate their slide out! And if that weren't enough, their sewer hose is two feet from our door step...so that was my view as I walked out my door this morning, coffee in hand.
Wifi was weak at best, most of the time I just used my cell.
This was an appalling money grab.

The pool and grounds are immaculate, which must explain the crazy high prices, or just Moab standard now. I paid twice what I paid at the best resort near Zion. Lots are tiny, compact, in level, and next to busy road with lots of noise.

We had high hopes for this place, but it turned out to be quite disappointing! It’s located on the far side of Moab . Really any place in Moab is close to both canyonlands and Arches. But for the price you pay here , the whole experience was underwhelming to say the least . They NEVER answer their phone , you can only contact them online . The sites are just tons of dust with a smattering of gravel . The front desk help was snarky and less than helpful . The change machine by the washers was out of order. The pool was closed for maintenance. ( and being that it’s summer that sucked) They for sure should put some money into the park , it feels like they feel like they don’t have to because of their location. We love and stay at KOAs all the time. For sure we would have left early , but that would mean forfeiting 150.00 We would not stay again . The worst KOA we’ve been to.

The cabin was spacious and offered basic amenities including a shower, AC, cable, and a grill-the wifi was an issue during our stay. If you are staying in a tent or camper-I can see how this campground may be an issue as sites are relatively close and it can get very dusty/dirty. However, for us, staying in a cabin located on the perimeter of the park, this was not an issue.

Called to cancel our reservation due to unforseen circumstances. Got a run around as far as holding the line..... then transferred to a voicemail. When called back again.... got a rude MOUTHFUL from another staff member. I called out of fairness to other people that are looking for places to stay (instead of just us not showing up) and now wish I never booked here and never had to call. DO NOT RECOMMED. Other places have better people, I’m sure.
