Creek/river washed out the access road. No vehicle entry and signs saying to not enter the campground.
I traveled to Vasquez, but it is closed too. SE of Winter Park there is a Boondocking spot.
Located at ~ 39°52′7″ N 105°44′53″ W

If you are traveling that way. There is a canal on one side of the road where vehicles are not allowed. But there appeared to be plenty of places otherwise. No amenities, but 2-3 bars cell service.

We stayed at Mizpah the first week of June in a camper truck. Mizpah is located right off of the highway and there was quite a bit of traffic throughout the evening; we saw several emergency vehicles fly down the road later in the evening. However, we felt secluded enough with the road frontage and the trees that blocked us. We camped to the left side of the circle and did not trek down to the river bank to camp like we had noticed others do in the past. The falls and river were located right next to the site and the sound of the falls and the view of the sunset behind the mountains to the West was very enjoyable. Would recommend a high clearance vehicle; watch out for pot holes and large roots!
