So far on my travels the only place that didn't judge or turn up their noses at a older model rv. Top notch. Restrooms were closed during our stay but would cherish the opportunity ro revisit in the future

My only complaint is that we made our reservation on the phone. We were setup for site #6. We received an email with directions to the campground and a map of the park. That was all great, except sites 6-9 aren’t in the campground, and they aren’t on the map. They are actually located off the RC track parking lot.
We arrived after hours (5pm) and spent an hour driving around the busy park in circles trying to find out spot. Luckily Allyson the park worker included her cell number in the email. After a few calls she answered, and while she didn’t sound happy, she did tell us where to go.

We stayed here as a base to go visit the Discovery Museum in Union City, TN. We stayed here as a base to go visit the Discovery Museum in Union City, TN. It was a little less than an hour drive from there and this was a good alternative as many reviews said Reelfoot Lake was very buggy and mosquito laden.
There are 5 paved sites. 3 are back-in. 2 are pull-through, but are right in front of each other, so really only an easy pull through for 1 person. The sites are large asphalt paved sites with a picnic table and fire ring. The sites are a little slopey, but workable. There are huge beautiful oak trees and open space between the sites. They are 30/50 amp and water with a dump station nearby. Payment is by exact cash or check.
This is a HUGE city park with a lot to do just at the park. There are several playgrounds, a pool, a fitness trail, 1.4 mile walking trail, RC track, baseball/soccer fields, horse arena, and disc golf. We saw a few practices going on while we were there, but the fields were far enough from the campsites that it didn't impact us.
There were restaurants, groceries, gasoline, etc. very close by.
The only negative experience was that a large group of teenagers hung out in the parking lots by the fields with very loud bass. Fortunately, it ended by 10 pm when the park is listed as being closed. Otherwise, it was very quiet.
Verizon signal was fine for streaming without a booster.

We only stayed here one night. A great clean and neat park for an overnight stay while heading on a trip. The site was large, level and paved. The power and water all look new. The bathhouse and showers was very clean. There are only 5 sites and lots of room in between them. The staff was very friendly.
