Great little spot right off I-90 by Community Lake. First-come, first-serve spots. We were able to get electric for $20. Very quiet, but we were here during the week in the fall. Mountains to the west, lake to the east. Beautiful setting. Very clean park!

There are sites right on the waterfront if you are lucky enough to snag them. Everything is first come, first serve. But even off the water it is a wonderful view, the water is clear and you can see the bottom of the lake. There is also a boat launch if that is what you want to do.

Make sure you get yout permit and display it from the welcome sign at your sight. Sheriff will come to check! Thankfully, a park employee caught us in the morning before he made the rounds, and they meant business. Had a great time swimming a bit with the kids amd enjoying the view.

Some great sites closer to lake - although kids closer to beach may be desirable. Two sections both with entrances off of Lake Desemet Road. First entrance is boat launch and electrical hookups - 2 nd entrance over cattle crossing has more lots and beach and toilets.
Worked here two days and enjoyed refreshing swim and camp fire pit on way to Glacier !

swarms of mosquitoes on the lower campground. FCFS policy but tons of
unoccupied sites which was annoying. one had toys on it to save it. no one here but taking up the sorely limited electrical sites because its several days before a holiday. ridiculous.
will not return.

Traveling from Montana on the way home from a visit and needed a quiet place for the night on a Monday it was, take your pick lots of sites to choose from and a few with electric $20 w $15w/o. We chose, with and got a great night's rest. Pit toilet was nearby and well kept, clean and stocked. Nice view of the lake and walked around the camp all sites looked decent, it's first come first serve with a pay box at the entrance and less than a mile from the interstate. Store if you need it, on the way to the campground. Only issue was 1 camper with a few barking dogs.

The sites are first come first serve. I stayed in
an electric site. (There are only 8, which are not
near the water). The rest of the sites are dry
camping. I did not find water or a dump station
around, so if you are staying longer make sure
to fill up your water tank. There is potable water
(and dump) at the Cenex in town.
