Rd 304 closed to camping. 376 is mostly a 1 way - not passable for 2 vehicles in most areas. I saw only 3 spots - none of them suitable for my small MH - Winnebago View 25’. Really nothing there. Maybe 304 used to have good sites but now closed as is the trend. Maybe more available farther up but need 4x4 , van etc…

When the road is dragged it is great. If not, it is washboard all the way.
We parked in the first spot close to the porter potties that was big enough for our 30 foot airstream trailer. Lots of mountain bikers. We enjoyed the activity but if you’re looking for solitude this spot might not be for you.
No turn around spot for big rigs after the spots by the porter potties. Don’t recommend going up the road farther than that.
Also-come prepared for mice! We had them come in half the nights we were here.

We arrived late at night with our Ford Transit van. The road after trailhead signs got a little narrow with a wash out on one side and rock on the other so we just pulled into the first flat area we saw instead of proceeding to the actual camping area. It was really windy up there on the hill so the noise from the gusts woke us up at different times during the night but otherwise it was so quiet and peaceful. This area has lots of trails for biking. Day use area nearby has covered picnic areas and vault toilets. If you drive 10 min into BV, the park that’s off Main St has restrooms and SHOWERS! We were so excited to learn this. We will definitely try this spot again.
