Loved the views and the convenience to glacier and other surrounding areas. Arrived late on a Saturday and had to squeeze in, but by Sunday afternoon it was empty.

The road in is pretty intimidating, but we didn't have any issues in our mini bus. Just take it slow and keep to the left when you get close to entering the beach.
Vault toilets were clean, but they are quite the walk from the camping spots. Please pick up your toilet paper if you decide to pee in the bushes! Its kind of disgusting how much toilet paper was in some spots.
Verizon signal was great! 20 down and 3-8 up. Plenty to video call and work on!

Loved this campsite. It’s huge so there is plenty of space for a lot of camp sites, and everyone is still pretty spaced out. It’s right by the river and it is absolutely stunning!

The road into this spot is BAD. Go slow. If you’re nervous, don’t go.
Close to town. Close to glacier.
Float the river! Put it near the golf course in west glacier!
Please do your part to leave no trace.

This is a beautiful spot right on the river. However, be prepared to get harassed daily by both the VERY unpleasant Forest Service and locals. The Forest Service came by daily and interrogated anyone that didn't have Mantana plates for no reason, threatened to search campsites if people didn't give them a full list of where they were from, where they were going, why they were there, how they found the place, what your plans were etc. ZERO masks, ZERO distancing. And ZERO regard for public health safety from these rangers as well. Putting people at risk.
The locals are just as bad. And the Forest Service protects them.

Liked it so much we stayed an extra night as we explored Glacier Ntl Park! I was worried it would be like spring break from the pics and some reviews but we went a bit further down the road in the woods and it was great for our family camping. Easy to find from map. Road in was very bumpy—even with high clearance conversion van we hit bottom once but driving really slow it was all good. There were 2 blue portapotties by our site and husband said they were fine. Saw vault toilet across the bridge too. Loads of sites with fire rings and tons of driftwood makes a quick fire. Not private but appreciated the heavy shade from all the trees. Great to cool off in the river and pretty sunset and sunrise. Had enough AT&T to post pics online.

The river itself was gorgeous. Frigid, and a really refreshing powerful swim. And excellent views of the night sky.
The road in was bumpy and very soft dusty dirt. My van has some decent ground clearance, and I just bumped my rear hitch as I came over the single largest bump. On the short road in, hug the left side for the gentlest drop into the beach. Then I'd recommend heading toward the back area, following a somewhat unnoteworthy road that runs in between large areas of driftwood.
The reception sucked. T-Mobile was empty. Verizon would show between 1-3 bars, but would randomly jump from mediocre to zero data. I spent a lot of time with 2 or 3 bars showing, and unable to load anything. Had to come into the close by towns to get data.

I had the switch on off for the headlights. I can’t control when my car decides to finally let them turn off. He basically threatened me saying he doesn’t want to have to get pissed off. Anyways. The site itself was nice! It was a little rough to get down the road to the site but my car managed to make it through.
