“Beautiful, cold, great fishing ”
Spent two nights here. It was windy, cold at night, warm, but to windy for dh to fly fish during the day. Fishing was great! He caught enough for supper first night and limit second day. Vault toilets, tables and fire rings. Not for large RVs.
Road in is very washboarded. Plan on an average of 10 mph on the dirt. The pavement from the dirt to the lakes has some deep potholes be careful they are more serious than the wash effect.
At one time it must have been a beautiful campground. Almost all the pines are dead and cut fire wood isn’t a problem. Piles of dead trees everywhere. Young aspen are thick. It will again be beautiful.
We have it on our visit again list!
