Overall Rating

Great location to some really nice hikes. The AT is within hiking distance or you can drive to a park 2 miles away which connects directly to the trail. There's a horse trial on the camping lot that's very nice, just mind the horse droppings of course. Site was large and clean overall. Only downside is that you are right by the road, but it isn't very busy.
If you need internet you will need an antenna for your MiFi. I was able to use both Verizon and ATT with the antenna though it was very slow, but still able to work.

Overall Rating

Free level site. Large gravel area in the Michaux State Forest off of Old Forge Road in Franklin County, PA. Peggy Hill trail leaves from the site and can be hiked for approximately 2 miles an out and back trail. Only negative is the site is right next to Old Forge Road and traffic can be heard starting around 4AM with people going to work from nearby South Mountain.
