We stayed one night in site 47. Needed levelers to get our camper van flat, but otherwise a good site. Looked like most sites had a little slope. Clean well lighted bathrooms and showers. Considerable road and train noise. Other sites with better views of the Columbia. Would stay again.

It's convenient if moving along 84 in your travels, but I'd only use it as a pass through.

Our RV popped a tire a mile or so from the Memaloose westbound rest area on a Saturday evening. We were parked at the rest stop, unable to get help with our tire that night and needed somewhere to stay. We walked down to the camp site to inquire about an open site and a camp host set us up in an “emergency site” with full hook ups for 2 nights while we waited for someone to come help with our tire on Monday. The showers, bathrooms, and camp sites were very clean. All the facilities were fully functional. Most sites seemed to have shade from the large trees. There was a little noise from the highway as the park is right next to the road, but that didn’t bother us. There is no access to the river at this state park as it is fenced off due to the railroad tracks. Overall, a great experience and 10/10 service from the very helpful park staff when we were in a stressful situation and needed last minute accommodations.

Full hookups are adjacent to the highway. Sites are small, or at least narrow. Lots of highway noise. Not sure if anyone checks to see if you're in the right spot. Wouldn't recommend this except for an overnighter.

We stayed here a week in a 27 ft travel trailer. We were in spot A-15. We were very pleasantly surprised with this park. We didn’t mind the highway noise. The hook up sites are against the highway. The sites at the end (say maybe A12-15) have more bushes behind them and the highway is less noticeable. The site length must fit your trailer and vehicle (no parking on road or to the side) but you can park perpendicular and your trailer can hang over the end a bit while your tires are still on the blacktop. The sites are spacious and shaded. The volunteers keep the park really clean and rangers are frequently available to answer any questions. The loop deloop to get in coming eastbound is not that big of deal. We picked a gallon huge ripe delicious huckleberries in the Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Signage is poor. The park is accessible only if you are traveling west bound and you must take the exit for the Rest Stop. Access to the Camp Ground at the end of the Rest Stop parking. There is pavement all the way including the perimeter roads. Check in was self registration. Find an empty site that has not been reserved. Fill out the form and drop in the box. Cash or Credit card works. The rules are fairly basic. Be aware; out of state visitors are penalized by having to pay more than residents.
Our site, B15, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer) were to the left side. Distancing is very poor for an urban park. Each site has a table and most have a fire pit. Our site was flat but sloped to the front. Overall the park was pretty and well manicured.
There is no included or pay for use internet. Our Verizon Mifi worked well. We did find plenty OTA TV. Satellite might be difficult because of the trees if you don’t have a portable dish. We did not use the washrooms or pay showers but we checked and found them clean.
There is a pathway that runs through the camp ground but no other trails or walks are nearby. There is no access to the river. Clearly, this is not a destination park. It is mostly an overnightrer. We watched it get busier as the evening came.
There are no stores or services within easy walking distance. If you are bothered by traffic or train noise, then perhaps this park is not for you. We found this park to be a well run rural RV park. We paid $38.00 per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.

Showers are push button and OK, they could use a refresh — some bugs kept it exciting.

I enjoyed our spot we tent camp with a 13x9’ tent so not small at all and had plenty of room. Beautiful views but the trains were nonstop all night long, we ended up packing up and leaving a day early. Great park for RVs.
