The camping area is the area before the gate which is locked to vehicles but you can walk into the preserve. I have a 40 ft class A with a car dolly for a total of 60 ft I was able to camp here. The day I was here it was very windy hopefully it's not that way all of the time.
Robert would stay here again

The area was very quiet. We pulled in around 930pm. There was one other van there. Small grassy area. Maybe 4-5 vans could fit it you wanted to be friendly. Tons of mosquitoes. Glad we just installed our bug wall

It looks like it would be a nice place to stay but when we got there, the gate was closed and locked. Had to drive another 10 miles to a campground for 40 bucks. Maybe next time.

Pulled in late and slept. All I needed was quiet and I got it! Woke to birds singing—nice! Some gravel road on the way down here.

Free nature preserve game area. The gate is closed and the camping area is just a square patch for tents and maybe 4-5 RVs max. Not pull through so we unhooked the Jeep. No RVs there but 1 tenter for the night. AT&T was great but watch out for the ticks if it is spring or summer. Deer and lots of birdwatching to be had. Quiet and peace... more
