All the utility sites (~15) were full Friday afternoon in June, but nobody tenting which I parked my van for $5 senior.

This is a fabulous camp. Well run by a long time camp host who keeps this place clean. The place shows his pride in his work. The place has a “just come home” feel to it. After a hellish day involving grades and smoking hot brakes, this campground was nirvana. Mostly older folks and fishermen, it was quiet. Full hook ups but not much cell service The camp host, Norm, was recently honored as a lifetime achievement award for 28000 hrs of volunteer hours by Idaho state and BLM. Quite the guy. After a hellish day involving grades and smoking hot brakes, this campground was nirvana. Mostly older folks and fishermen, it was quiet. Full hook ups but not much cell service The camp host, Norm, was recently honored as a lifetime achievement award for 28000 hrs of volunteer hours by Idaho state and BLM. Quite the guy. Gave honor to this wife, Reva who has passed and stood by him. We were happy to have witnessed his local ceremony at the campground. We ventured out exploring the area during our stay. Love it here. Nez Perce history. Lewis and Clark. Amazing.
