Clean and quite campground. Dry camping, but bathrooms exist and a dumpster. Most sites are level and have plenty of room (we are 25' RV + Jeep = 42 ft). A pay station at the entrance will take your credit card payment of $15/nite. We used this as our base for visiting Winslow and then 1 hour away Petrified National Monument. Best low cost option we could find.

No hook-ups, no dump station, no potable water so $15/night seems a bit high. The restrooms were being worked on while we were there. But the sites are huge with plenty of space between them. There is a camp host though I never saw them in my 5 days there. The campground is clean but there is a lot of "old trash". Rusty bottle caps, nails, barbed wire. Things that have been there for years and blend into the environment, no discredit towards the host. But watch your dogs nonetheless.
Homolovi State Park is 5 miles up the road with some interesting ruins. They also have a dump station though I don't know if it's free.
Petrified Forest National Park is an hour down I-40. It is one of the least visited National Parks. It deserves way more recognition. This campground is the perfect spot for a day trip since there are very few places to camp around there. And if you have enough time on the way back take a detour through the Hopi reservation.
Oh, and of course go stand on the corner in Winslow.

Very easy to get in to the park. Pay kiosk as you enter. Around 15 level sites at top of campground. About that many down by the water. Beautiful, peaceful place to unwind for a few days if you need to get off the road for a while. You can see the interstate but cannot hear it. A far off train can be seen and heard just slightly. Flush toilets and a sink are old and stained but functional. Sites are first come, so you can get your ticket at the entrance and then drive in to park your rig. Will fit rigs of all sizes. There are pull through and back in sites available. There is a garbage dumpster by the bathroom. No dump or potable water in this park but there are several paces in town for that.

This is a nice place to spend the night or two. Only downside is there are thorny weeds everywhere. Thorns are 1” long, but they were still green and soft on 4th of july weekend. When these dry out they will be deadly!!

Camping is past the picnic area and the boat ramp. There are maybe 8 sites next to the reservoir and another dozen tiered up the hillside - most w/lake views. Sites are big and clean. No hookups but each space has a picnic table, grill, and fire ring. We were 1 of 3 groups, other 2 were tents. The wind never stopped which kept it cool and kept the bugs away. There are bathrooms at the far end of the campground that looked new, but in the Covid Era, we chose not to check them out. We will definitely camp here again.

Cost $15 for overnight stay, the campground was clean and quiet! We stayed on a Friday night, arriving right after sunset. It was pretty secluded, far enough away from Winslow. I was worried people would be partying by the reservoir but all I heard was frogs. Dark at night except for the bathrooms. The campsite was relatively full but everyone kept to themselves. The bathrooms were a fine; the toilets flushed and there was a sink with weak pressure. There was a showers but it seemed pretty questionable, kinda dirty. Seems like there’s a slot where you pay a quarter to use.. I didn’t venture in.

Pulled in today, it is open, and nearly full. The camp host says that the city is going to start charging soon, probably $15 a night. It's a nice campground, on the lake, but no shade in the lower (lake shore) area, and no cover between sites. No OTA television, but 4 bars Verizon. Toilets and dumpsters, but no dump or water.
