Trails were very nicely marked.. Our site was very spacious and had water & electric, a fire pit/grill, and was pretty level (not paved). We used the showers and they were very clean. Speaking of clean, all roadways, trails & campsites were incredibly clean. Kudos to those keeping this park so nice. We'll be back!! Also!! Coming in to this park we drove through Fountain Hills, about 6-8 miles away. Be certain you visit this beautiful community if you haven't been here before, and check out THE FOUNTAIN!!

What a gorgeous place! You are two miles into the park right in the middle of the stunning Sonoran Desert scenery. The sites have a lot of room between them. Many van campers were taking advantage of the beautiful mountain bike trails. Just water and electric but hope we get to stay again and again.

We’ve stayed here multiple times this year. This stay was for two nights. We did have to change sites because we couldn’t get two consecutive nights. Sites are always clean. Sites have water & electric hook up and fire pits. Bath house is clean. Dump station just outside the campground. Didn’t get a chance this time to stop at the visitor center. The views are great all around and there are hiking trails. All staff we encountered were nice and helpful. Close proximity to Fountain Hills.

We stayed three nights at this wonderful campground while visiting family in the area. It was hard to get three nights in a row so we had to stay one night in one space, two nights in the other. We were able to find available spaces timely by using wanderinglabs.com, which will notify you when a site becomes available at any park anywhere. The sites are well spaced out and contain water and electricity. Each has a well-maintained space and a sand picnic area with barbecue grill. There are numerous bicycle and hiking trails around, which a lot of campers seemed to be enjoying. Bathrooms are close by, clean and well-lit. It’s close to the metro area but far enough away to be quiet and remote, other than planes flying overhead during the daytime. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful. In April, the flowers and birds were amazing. We loved it.

We stayed here for 14 days and the site hosts are very friendly. Restrooms were really clean with a single shower in both the men’s and women’s bathrooms. There are multiple bathroom facilities throughout the park that are within walking distance of each other. The wildlife is very active here, we saw snakes, tarantulas, and heard coyotes howling every night. We had a small hiccup in the beginning with an faulty 50amp plug on the pedestal, but they sent someone out the next day and were very accommodating with moving us to a different spot. One day was extremely windy and quite scary, but I’m sure that’s somewhat common in the area.

The sites are spaced out nicely so you’re not on top of each other and everyone has a fire pit, picnic table, water, and electric. It’s about a 30 minute drive to Scottsdale so bring all you need in to save gas. Dumpsters and dump site available. The trails were my favorite with trails for mountain bikes and hikers. Beautiful area. Didn’t see any wildlife in December.

When we went there on Saturday without reservation, the campground was full, so I book next day there and came back next day.
As you enter the campground area, you will first see the dump area. There are two dump places so 2 RVs at a time but no one was there when we are there.
Since the check in time is 1pm, we went for a hike while waiting there. If you camp there, they waive the park entrance fee.
The hike is not hilly just flat road. Did not run into any rattlesnake when we were there.
Very quiet throughout the day and night.
Verizon has 2 bars in 5G and sometimes the signal was becoming weak. I do not have cell booster so it should be better with it.
Overall pretty nice stay!
