It's very accessible from hwy 33. The camp area is grass and dirt, and extremely unlevel. The grass was nicely mowed. Probably about 5 RV's could camp there. Only one level spot and of course I took it. No one else there. The camp area is only about 100 yards from the hwy and there is surprisingly quite a bit of traffic, so it's noisy even until midnight. There are some dirt roads that lead into the forest. Don't even dream of driving down one of them unless you have a 4-wheel truck raised at least 1 1/2 feet, or if you're driving an Abrams tank. There is a toilet house (see photo). AT&T cell coverage was mostly zero bars with an occasional 5 minute period of one bar. All in all, it's about what you'd expect for a hunt camp and quite acceptable.

McDougle Hunt Camp
Enter the camp site, make an immediate right turn for more camping/rest/parking area when you are arriving in the dark/late night. The road is big enough for a Cruise America standard Size RV. Very quite and dark. Great disperse camping for night (free). If you are a large RV camper greater than 31’, we would advise to not attempt the drive in this camp site loop in the dark.
