Maverik Truck Parking

Parked on the west side of the parking lot parallel to the outside curb because we’re towing a car. Some general noise from traffic, but we slept well and felt secure. Well-lighted parking lot with a small area for dogs (not fenced) and picnic tables. The building and selection of snacks and drinks are really good. Hot grab and go breakfast options are also available.
If you climb up the hill behind the building, there is undeveloped land on which we walked our dogs. Some burrs, but not terrible, especially if you stay on the wider sandy paths between the bushes.

We parked here overnight while traveling across I-40. When we pulled in, there were several semis parked on the east side, and a number of spots large enough for RVs on the west. We found a spot in front of the store and to he west that was fairly flat, and by parking parallel to the curb, we could extend our driver side slide.

They have a good selection in the convenience store, and a small grass picnic area where you can sit and eat, or walk your dog. Please patronize them if you decide to park here!
