Officially, the water is non-potable because the handle is painted red. But I believe it's potable, it's only painted red because it's not spaced far enough away from the actual dump hole. Just wipe the spigot with hand sanitizer before hooking up your hose.

Glad I trusted the reviews and stopped here. Lots of room and easy to get in and out. Perfect for my first time dumping our tanks. I’m going to be disappointed at the next place I go, I just know it! ;)

“Free water without dump”

We only needed to fill our water tank and didn't need to get gas at that time, so we asked the attendant first if it was okay to fill up with water. He said it was fine, but we might want to use our own hose, which we had planned to do anyway. (Later, we did get gas & ice here.)
Nice station, and lots of room for maneuvering.

I would not use the water as "fresh water" to put in my tank. The supplied hose was detachable, so you could use your own, but I had visions of all the customers operating the faucet with their poopy hands.

They have large RV gas lanes and the dump is straight ahead from the RV gas pumps. The potable water is at the dump station. They did have a hose, but we used our own. We went back several times and filled jugs of water and never had a problem. It was not locked when we were there. Perfect location for us and could not have been easier. Ended up staying over a week due to the easy access to water. There is a nice grocery store right across the street too.

Most gas station dump stations are so tiny and cramped. This gas station has RV gas lanes, such a good idea! We had plenty of space to get gas and dump our tanks. They have potable water as well.
Very close to Zion NP as well!

The twin towns of La Verkin and Hurricane offer nearly every service and product imaginable for the RV traveler visiting the area surrounding Zion National Park, and that includes this Maverik. The dump station is free to use with any purchase. The water is marked as neither potable nor non-potable (and is therefore presumed to be potable), but the hose provided lacks any fitting on the distal end -- you'll need to use your own hose to fill your tank or to connect to your black tank flush.
To make this site extra squishy, this is one of the new Maveriks that includes special RV/truck fueling lanes with super-easy access in and out, providing both gasoline and diesel. And they're thoughtful enough to provide windshield washers for RVs with handles as long as a broomstick.
Thank you Maverik!

You will need to ask for a key from the cashier to open the sewer. Instead of paying $5, they said dumping was included if you spent money there (gas or snacks). Easy peasy! There water hose did have a leak and seemed like a bad idea to waste all that water in the desert.
