Dump station itself was clean and unobstructed. It's at the west end of the truck parking lot east of the gas station; enter the lot from Highway 491 and keep left. There's no potable water at the dump (there is rinse water), but there's drinking water available on the east side of the gas station building. You'll need to go inside ... more
Dump station itself was clean and unobstructed. It's at the west end of the truck parking lot east of the gas station; enter the lot from Highway 491 and keep left.
There's no potable water at the dump (there is rinse water), but there's drinking water available on the east side of the gas station building. You'll need to go inside and ask for the "key" (really a 5/16" square-drive socket wrench). You'll either need to pull into the area in front of the dumpsters, or park on the street and use a 50' hose to reach your rig.
In summary, the fresh water was more hassle than you'd ideally like, but the price was right. Fuel is reasonably priced here too.
