This is a great setting and could be a 5 star+ Park. The bath houses leave you a little bit underwhelmed, water pressure on our site was low so you almost had to use the bathhouse to shower. Our site was roomy and level. We would definitely stay here again

3/15/2020 Although it was cold and rainy, it was a great time to be in Arkansas. The facilities were clean and the staff were great. Would be back for sure.

Great LTE cell coverage.
Lots of mature trees but no bushes to buffer views or sound. My favorite so far on our trip west. Would definitely come back. Easter Sunday and lots of families picnicking as well and an Easter egg hunt in one of the fields.

It was rainy while we were here so we did not use the fire ring. Sorry we could only stay 3 days.

Typical well kept and organized COE campground. Right on the river/lake.
Shower and bathrooms. Boat ramp and lots of day use picnic areas. Several dump stations.
Level sites (was off 0.25 inch left to right). Asphalt pads with gravel area picnic bench at all sites. Bit narrow pad, but plenty for the rig and your steps. Nice grass all around with tons of space between. Guess it is popular for fishing as all sites had a pole to hang and clean fish.
Couple of smaller sites share a Y shaped back in but even then you are not on top of eachother.
10-15 minutes from big box shops including Costco and Sams Club. Kroger is even closer.

Only way to get a site is to log into Recreation.gov. Don't try to do it from your phone!
Lovely level paved site next to the river. So peaceful. Easy access (once past road construction)
Clean restrooms with flush toilet and showers.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The park is very convenient to downtown Little Rock (15 minutes) which we were there to take our son to Comic Con at the LR Convention Center. There is a Kroger very close for any grocery needs and some great restaurants nearby as well. We tried a placed called Izzies that was amazing. The sites are large and well maintained. No issues leveling and all hook ups as well as amenities functioned appropriately. The bath house wasn’t great but definitely usable. Cell signal was great being so close to LR and we were able to pick up more than enough TV stations from our antenna.

Pretty area and friendly staff. Spaces are a little closer than I like but still worth it. Right off the Arkansas river with a dock, playgrounds, and picnic spots all around.
