We were able to get a site that when coming in at 2pm. The sites are somewhat level. The campground is a small loop and was full by 6pm. We stayed on a Tuesday. There is no dump station and we could not get the pump water system to work. We would stay again.

A lovely, small, wooded campground with well spaced, private sites. We pulled in around 6 pm and found a handful of open sites. Many were small but we easily backed our 36’ fifth wheel into spot 8 which was level and had a great setup with table and fire pit in a little clearing off the side. There was a 1 mile walking trail to view the glacier from the campsite. Pump water is available but it says to treat. No dump on site. All in all a really nice, quiet spot for a short stop over.

We pulled in but did not stay. Most sites not level; we found one that was pretty good but the forest was quite buggy and we knew there was a roadside pullout of few miles (MP99.3) up the road that had a nice view of the glacier. We overnighted there and saved $20! And, no bugs with great glacier view

We stayed free for 3 days with our disabled veterans pass from the state of Alaska. We would stay again if in the area. We couldn't see the glacier from the fires in the area summer 2019. There’s also an overnight parking area available for $10.

I was told that 7+ years ago the glacier was right in front of the campground. These days it’s receded to about 1.5 miles up the road. The campground is fine. Nothing fancy. Definitely not worth $20. There’s also an overnight parking area available for $10. I would recommend that before the actual campground.
