Overall Rating
The campground is largely seasonal but also offers rental cabins and a couple of transient sites. Our site was tight but easy to pull in and out of - we had room for our chairs, a picnic table and a fire ring. The firewood was great - seasoned and dry - and was delivered to the site. There was lots of green space around the playground for kids to run, a nice beach, water slide and docks and tie ups for boats.
We were using the campground to explore the area and to hike parts of the Ottawa-Temiskaming Highland Trail. Highlights were Whiskey Jack Brewery in Haileybury, hiking at Cliff Lake Conservation area, Farmers Market in New Liskeard and the Silver Heritage Trail in Cobalt.
There was no WiFi and only 1 bar for Rogers.
