Overall Rating

Marapai road has so much potential for wonderful dispersed camping. Unfortunately the road to the sites is impassable for any low clearance trailers

The good: The area has wonderful views of the valley and Thumb Butte. The sites are well spaced and large with good cell coverage.

The bad: The road is not maintained and there are several large ruts that make it impassable for most rigs. The worst of them occuring right after site 2. If one day the road is regraded it would be a wonderful camping experience.

Site 2 is a back in site with no view. It has a private fire ring and tent area at the back of the site. The site is not level. The site is shaded.

The site had 4 bars of AT&T 4G with 141 megabit download and 0.019 megabit upload and 2 bars of Verizon 4G with 29.8 megabit download and 1.7 megabit upload.
