Our site was not very level, so bring some leveling blocks. I used 3" blocks and still had the jacks pretty extended. We had an inside site, but water's edge sites looked more level.
I-24 is right across Rankin Cove on the Tennessee River, so there's a bit of noise. You get used to it, and the noise was barely noticable inside our motorhome.
Overall, the park is nice and the staff friendly. Rates were very reasonable for the water/30 amp electric only site at $18/night. We'll be back. :)

A nice park but too close to the interstate for me, which was very noisy. Keep calling, as they will eventually answer the phone and help make a reservation, unlike Shellmound. If you want to stay longer, you might have to change spaces, as they make no effort to call other bookings to change them to keep you in the same space. We stayed 11 days and moved twice. Our last space was in the area to the left as you enter, which was maybe marginally quieter than the spaces out on the peninsula. The view of the lake was nice and there were lots of birds and waterfowl.

Great spot on the water for cheap. Friendly staff! Not too far from Chattanooga. Only issue was the uncleanliness of the restrooms

Check in was easy & the sites near the water were level. The showers & restroom were clean.
An added perk was the Lodge cast iron factory store in nearby South Pittsburgh. A few items in the seconds section are headed home with us. The park is also relatively close to Russell Cave National Monument which were visited the next day.

Great! Water front sites are best but the other ones also have great views! Host was great.
Views are amazing specially at sundown and sunsets!
We would stay here over and over!
Theo blue inconvenience was that ducks poop all over around the river and we found some on our site.

We only stayed one night as a stop over. Nice clean RV Park. You can't beat the price for the area. Water/electric only dump station on site. We were able to call in and make a reservation 2 months in advance. Lookout winery is about 2 miles away. Great pizza and wine! Only downsize is the noise from the interstate.

Cute little park. Very clean. electric and water at site. Dump station up the hill. Most pull through sites are not level. Make sure to get one by the lake, They are level.

For check in there is an office (little wood hut) being built at the entrance. If there is noone there call the mobile number listed on this listing. There were no signs when we arrived and very confusing trying to figure it out. Eventually figured out we had to call the number and they came down and met us at the office. Staff are friendly.
There is fishing and boating opportunities at the lake. Around 25mins to Chattanooga.
