Very nice place with limited facilities. Excellent Boondocking with access to composting toilets on site. Lots of places to walk and read the historical markers.

Many people show up at night to "see" the Marfa lights. There is a viewing pavilion with telescopic binoculars. Level parking area and not sure if bathrooms are open in the pavilion. Road noise is a bit loud. Price is right.

Only RV type campers, 1 night stays, all respectful and friendly. Felt very safe. Arrived at night, very easy to find and lots of open spots. Clean portapotty type bathroom, no running water.

We stayed here one night. It's a free place to park for the night. Nothing special. It is right next to railroad tracks (earplugs for me!) Great place for sunset viewings (busy on Sat) overall nice overnight stay. I didn't see any ghost lights.

Bathrooms are a little dodgy, but nice enough if you don't want to use your rig. There were a few other rigs which was nice as it might feel a little creepy out there all alone.

I’m in a 24’ rv. This place is not really a camp site, but if you’re coming to look for the Marfa lights (I didn’t see anything, but I saw shooting stars!) know it’s ok to just stay right where you’re parked for the night. The pavement is level. You’re close to the road so you’ll hear traffic and trains all night long, but I slept through all of it. There are some small garbage cans, but remember to #leavenotrace And if you have more than a tiny amount of garbage pack it out.
The Marfa lights attract lots of people so there will be folks all over the place until 10-11 or much later. Most aren’t campers, just people who drove out there.
There were 2 folks other than me who stayed over night. One in a 24’ who kept very contained and stealthy, and the other in a T@G who opened the back and made dinner early in the afternoon, well before others arrived for sunset, then closed it up and was also stealthy.
Since most people here aren’t campers, I’d recommend keeping everything packed up (contained) except for maybe a camp chair.
