The west side of the camping area is usually wide open, that also means that it is wide open to the west winds which can be intense. The east side has a narrow slightly winding pathway which according to how much it is used can be full of ruts and cut tree stumps in the middle of the pathway. I cannot tell you of or why there are any restrictions as I tent camp. It may be that the less than straight pathway between east and west areas is narrow and peraps a bit dicy form an undercarriage standpoint.

Likely that is the largest that has been there. The road had some rough spots but when you get to the vista you have plenty of room to turn around. The vista is open and flat—a couple of football fields length. Most campers where backed up into the forest next to the vista
