Lots of full time / seasonal residents but they see,Ed to be in their own area of the park. Transitory RVers we’re in their own section. Nice level sites, paved with grass in between. Full hookups, bath house, inconvenient laundry facilities. Small store open on the weekends only in the spring. Basketball courts, childrens playgrounds and dog run - all seem very nice.
This park is out in rural south South Bend- but it’s a very upscale community which is surprising considering how horrible some of the roads are. But once you get into town, tons of shopping and restaurants (15-20 min). Cute little towns in the area, definitely worth exploring.

The bathhouse is beautiful. Sadly the pool is closed. There are tons of trails to walk on, disk golf, a nice children’s park on premises, a state park nearby.
We found it not wise to drive at night after seeing 6 raccoon, 2 frogs, 1 possum, 1 cat, and 8 deer on one dusk drive home.
Verizon was ok. Not the best but not the worst. T-mobile lightening fast.

For families this location has activities that will suffice everyone. So, for the Indiana resident, this is a good family campground to consider.
Clean facilities are key for my seal of approval.
