On the truck side, there’s a nice level paved shoulder to park on. But the truckers fly by all night. Otherwise awesome spot for trailer camping overnight.

This is a great rest area for an overnight stop. The truck/RV parking lot is behind the regular rest area, so it's farther removed from the highway traffic. There are ample spots of the standard diagonal truck lanes to park for the night in. It never got more than 25% full while we were there. Dogs aren't welcome in the main portion of the rest area, but there is a dog walking area behind the truck/RV parking. We saw a wild turkey there in the morning! We will not hesitate to stay here again if we need a place to stay while heading up I-5. The truck/RV parking at the next rest area (I believe it's Cabin Creek) is not nearly as nice, so if you're deciding whether to stop here or continue on to the next one, I'd stop here.

I enjoy staying in rest areas. This was my first one in Oregon. Very nice.

“No Lights ”
noted 2/11/2023
I went to stop there but it was very dark, there’s no lighting. Did not feel safe at all so kept on going and made it to the next town of Medford and stopped at the Cracker Barrel
