Camping in the Ewa Forest Reserve (Waimano section) is allowed with a permit along the Manana Trail. The trail traverses a public hunting area, hikers should exercise caution by wearing wear bright colored clothing and staying on the trail. Campsites are not designated, camp within 10 feet of the center of the trail. Camping is allowed anywhere within the Manana Trail corridor but camping at the trail shelters is preferred.
